When you submit a report to Gall & Gall to process, we use that information only for the sole purpose of conducting specific business need for which it was collected. Our clients may provide us with first and last name; previously used names, date of birth, social security numbers, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, employment information, school attended and licenses held in order to process verifications to meet their needs for the reports they are ordering.
These pieces of identifying information are required for us to properly process background checks. We will only use the information collected from our clients for the purpose of completing the ordered background screening. We will not release your personal identifying information to third parties unless it is necessary to process a verification.
All clients of Gall & Gall must have an FCRA permissible purpose in order to request a background screening report on an applicant. All clients must also have their applicants sign a disclosure form that allows Gall & Gall and the client to perform a background check.
Security is a high priority and an integral part in the design and development of ICheck applicant screening system. Attention is given to high publicity threats such as viruses, denial of service attacks and other malicious activities over the Internet, as well as to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive application data such as credit reports, social security numbers, and other identifying information. We use industry-leading technology to secure ICheck and its operating environment, including client authentication (password-controlled access), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, 128 bit data encryption, public-private key pair, firewalls, intrusion detection, filtering routers, and data backups. Each component acts as a layer of protection to safeguard information from unauthorized users, deliberate malfeasance, and inadvertent loss.
